Laguna Honda Hospital and Rehabilitation Center is a general acute care hospital (licensed capacity, 780 beds) providing acute medical and rehabilitation services (capacity, 11 beds), and skilled nursing services (total SNF capacity, 769 beds).

Shift:
- Weekend daytime Sat & Sun 8:00am – 5:30pm
- Weekday & Weekend Nights 5:00pm – 8:30am
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid current licensure through the Medical Board of California or the Osteopathic Medical Board of California*
- Possession of valid Board Certification or Board Eligibility in the appropriate medical specialty area for the assigned facility or division**
- Possession of valid Drug Enforcement Agency registration with the United States Department of Justice***
*Applicants possessing a valid license to practice medicine issued from another state within the United States of America may apply, but if selected, the candidate will NOT be appointed/hired until they obtain a valid license to practice medicine issued by the Medical Board of California or the Osteopathic Medical Board of California.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with aging or geriatric populations.
- While additional training beyond residency is not necessary for employment, we welcome applicants with additional training, especially in the areas of geriatrics, addiction medicine, palliative care, infectious diseases, and behavioral health.
- Valid current BLS and ACLS certification.
